Well, let me tell ya, these two fellas, Diontae Johnson and DJ Moore, they’re always gettin’ talked about. Folks keep askin’ who’s better, who ya should pick for your team. It’s like pickin’ between apples and oranges, if ya ask me.
Now, Diontae, he’s a Pittsburgh fella. He’s quick, that one. Runs real fast, like a jackrabbit. I seen him catch the ball and zoom past them fellas like they were standin’ still. They say he got up to somethin’ like 19 miles per hour on one of them touchdowns. That’s mighty fast, faster than my grandson on his bicycle, I tell ya.
Then there’s DJ Moore, he plays for… well, I forget which team now. But he’s good too. They say he’s gonna score more points than Diontae this week. Points, points, points, that’s all they talk about. Like it’s some kinda game. Oh wait, it is a game! Silly me.
Now, these experts, they got all sorts of numbers and projections. They say this fella will score this many points, and that fella will score that many. But honestly, it’s all a guess, if ya ask me. Nobody really knows what’s gonna happen on that field. It’s like predictin’ the weather, it changes all the time.

People talk about “fantasy football”. What in tarnation is that? Sounds like a dream to me. Wish I could dream up a winnin’ lottery ticket! But these folks, they get all worked up about it. Tradin’ players, startin’ this one, benchin’ that one. It’s enough to make your head spin.
I heard someone say they were tradin’ Diontae for DJ. Imagine that, tradin’ people like they’re baseball cards! It just don’t seem right. But then again, I don’t understand half of what goes on these days.
They say you gotta look at the statistics, whatever those are. Numbers and such. Well, I say, just watch ’em play. See who’s catchin’ the ball, who’s runnin’ fast, who’s makin’ the touchdowns. That’s what matters, ain’t it?
Week 11, Week 12, it’s all the same to me. Just a bunch of fellas runnin’ around in tight pants. But people get excited about it, so I guess it’s important. They ask who to start, who to trade, who’s gonna score the most. If I knew the answer, I’d be a rich woman, I tell ya.
So, who’s better, Diontae or DJ? Don’t ask me, I ain’t got a clue. They both seem like nice young men, workin’ hard and playin’ the game. Just flip a coin, or pick the one with the nicer smile. It’s all a gamble anyway.
But hey, that’s just my two cents. What do I know? I’m just an old woman tryin’ to make sense of this crazy world. Now, where did I put my tea?
