Alright, so you wanna know about this Max Homa fella and his scores, huh? Well, lemme tell ya, I ain’t no fancy golf expert or nothin’, but I can piece things together for ya, just like I piece together a quilt. From what I hear, this Max fella, he’s a golfer, plays that game with the little white ball and the sticks. Seems like he’s been at it for a while now, been around the block a few times, if ya catch my drift.
Now, they got all these fancy tournaments and championships, and this Max, he’s been in a bunch of ’em. I seen some folks talkin’ about the ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP, and they had his scores up there on that internet thingy, the ESPN. Said he was playin’ in Japan, can ya believe it? All the way over there! They had his scorecard, all them numbers and such. I ain’t gonna lie, I can’t make heads or tails of it half the time, but I reckon the lower the number, the better. They also had some other tournaments, like that Sentry one, and the Farmers Insurance Open. Seems like he plays a lot, this fella.
This Homa guy, he’s from the United States. I saw a picture of him, looks like a nice young man, not like some of them grumpy old golfers you see on TV. They say he finished in the top 10 at The Open, that’s a big deal, I guess. Played in England, at some fancy golf club with a royal name, Royal Liverpool somethin’ or other. And the weather was bad, too! Wind and rain, probably. But he kept on playin’, didn’t let it bother him none.

Ten years, they said. That’s a long time to be thinkin’ ‘bout a missed bird, or whatever it is. But that’s golf for ya, I reckon. You win some, you lose some. And sometimes, you just keep on thinkin’ ‘bout what you coulda done better.
Now, if you wanna find out his exact scores, you gotta go look it up yourself. They got these websites, like Flashscore, they keep track of all that stuff. I ain’t got the time to be sittin’ here readin’ off numbers all day, I got things to do, ya know? Gotta cook dinner, tend to the garden, make sure them chickens don’t get into mischief.
But from what I gather, this Max Homa, he’s a pretty good golfer. He plays hard, he travels all over the world, and he keeps on comin’ back for more, even when he loses. That’s somethin’ to admire, I think. He might not win every time, but he gives it his all. And that’s all you can really ask for, ain’t it? Just do your best, and let the chips fall where they may. That’s what my old pappy used to say, and it’s good enough for me.
